I refused to let another
good idea die from neglect.
After 5 years of building products nobody saw, I fixed the system instead of blaming myself.

The Graveyard of Good Ideas
47 GitHub repos. Products good enough to use — but invisible. Landing pages with no traffic. MVPs that died in silence.
Every January, I'd renew domains for projects I hadn't touched in 11 months. Every time, I'd tell myself: "This year, I'll actually do the marketing."
I never did. Marketing was a different job — one I didn't sign up for, wasn't good at, and that pulled me away from building.
The Real Problem
I used to think I was lazy. Or undisciplined. Or just "not a marketing person."
Marketing is a different discipline. I'm an engineer. Blog posts, social media, SEO — not my skills. And every tool I tried still needed a marketer driving it:
- Write content (in what voice?)
- Choose keywords (which ones?)
- Post on social (say what?)
- Track analytics (across how many dashboards?)
- Build a strategy (from scratch, every time)
Every time I sat down to "do marketing," I spent 30 minutes figuring out where I left off. Then went back to coding.
The problem wasn't me. The problem was the system.
Why I Had to Build This
I looked for a solution. Tried HubSpot—way too complex and expensive for indie projects. Tried Mailchimp—doesn't scale across multiple products. Tried Notion dashboards—just another thing to maintain.
Nothing was built for people like me: builders who'd rather ship code than write marketing copy.
So I built SerialStack. It reads my product, creates the marketing, and publishes it. One pipeline — strategy, content, publishing — automatic.
Now I check in once a week. Review. Approve. Build.
No more ideas dying from neglect.
